Aerial Yoga

A fun fusion of yoga postures done in stretchy, yoga hammocks. The beautiful stretchy fabrics hang low to the ground in a hammock style so there is easy access to the floor. The fabric acts as a safe prop to assist the body in opening and relaxing while your weight is completely supported by the fabric in a zero-gravity situation. The hammock can be opened wide to lie inside or bunched together to sit, stand or support in stretching. Classes vary from active to more relaxed. There are numerous zero-gravity benefits including decompression, improved circulation, skeletal and nervous system health as well as joint mobility.

Cost: Drop-in, cost is $20 per person for a single class.

Classes are separate from any Circle Studios Yoga Memberships.

What to wear: Fitted, stretchy tights or yoga pants that cover the back of the knees. Tops that are fitted and stretchy and can be tucked in to pants and completely cover your armpits. This protects the skin from rubbing directly on the fabric, preventing chafing and promoting the longevity of the fabrics. No shoes on the fabric, bare feet are ideal. Please keep fingernails and toenails smooth so they don’t rip the fabric. When choosing your clothing make sure no zippers or velcro. Please remove all jewelry including rings and refrain from wearing belts. Appropriate dress is highly important to preserve the silks from rips, snags and stains.  Circle Studios has the right to deny class entrance if your clothing could damage the silks.

Is this safe: You will feel very safe in the hammocks as they are designed to hold over 2,000 lbs and hang low to the floor for easy grounding. The silks serve as a prop to help your body relax into the stretches in a zero-gravity sensation. Students are taught techniques to “tie or lock” themselves into the fabric to ensure safety. The instructor guides the class with slow, controlled movements, and will demonstrate first on how to set up the movement, feel supported during, and safely come out of the pose- before you try. Classes will start at an introductory level for new students who have never tried aerial yoga. You will develop comfort, focus, control and body awareness, while having a lot of fun.

KIDS YOGA CLASSES FOR AGES 6-12

Kids-Yoga2We’re offering these once a month on Saturdays, plan to get on your mat! Kids yoga classes are offered at the same time as the adult Bikram Yoga Classes! Child drop-off starts 15 minutes before and continues 15 minutes after class to give you time to get yourself ready. This allows you to do yoga while your children do yoga at the same time in their own separate class.

We focus on toning and sculpting muscles, and grounding through root chakra energy with a full dynamic asana flow. This is an all level class, but great for beginners to feel a little more comfortable in a relaxed atmosphere where you can feel free to let loose, and just move your body to the beat! Come out and join us on the mat, become part of our tribe, shift your vibration, and feel amazing!

Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness.  It is an ancient technology that works with breath, movement, postures, eye-focus, mantra, music, mudra, body-locks and meditation, to cleanse and strengthen the body and enhance focus and intuition.  For many ages it was an oral tradition being passed only from teacher to student and was not taught publicly until it was brought to the west by Yogi Bhajan in 1969.  He broke the age-old tradition of secrecy because he saw how much people were suffering and spiritually draught and knew these were effective tools to help.  Classes leave you feel energized and uplifted.

Yin YogaYin

Mondays 8-9pm

With Erin Bontius

A slower paced class where you are guided to practice deep stillness in postures for anywhere between 2-5 minutes in length. These long, still holds target the connective tissue allowing for slow deep release. This is a powerful rehabilitative practice for healing injuries and chronic issues, while also being a deeply relaxing practice that helps to unwind and release stress. Often accompanied by live music.

Cost: Drop-in, Classes are included with any Circle Studios Yoga Memberships.

Community Class

Fridays 4:30-5:30pm

The weekly class is an opportunity to come together and practice yoga with an affordable way to practice yoga! The Community class is $10 min. donation. Join us for a regular temperature vinyasa flow class Friday nights 4:30-5:30pm. Also available free to our unlimited members!

Cost: $10 Minimum Donation Drop-in, Classes are included in any Circle Studios Unlimited Yoga Memberships.

Warm Vinyasa Flow

In this class you will be guided through a vigorous vinyasa practice in a warm room. Come get a great lunchtime workout!
