ANATOMY REQUIREMENTS (Integrated Throughout Training)

Total Anatomy Hours: 12–16 hours (woven into movement labs)

Students must MASTER:

  1. Anatomical terminology (flexion, extension, planes of motion)
  2. Spinal anatomy (cervical, thoracic, lumbar curves)
  3. Neutral vs imprint
  4. Deep core system (diaphragm, transversus abdominis, multifidus, pelvic floor)
  5. Superficial abdominals (rectus abdominis, obliques)
  6. Hip complex (glute max, glute med, hamstrings, iliopsoas)
  7. Scapular mechanics (serratus anterior, trapezius)
  8. Basic contraindications (osteoporosis, low back pain, cervical strain, postpartum)

Students must be able to:

  • Identify primary muscles working in exercises
    • Explain regressions and safety modifications
    • Recognize common compensation patterns
    • Describe exercises in anatomical terms

Your trainer, Kimberely Beaudry: With nearly two decades of experience, Kimberley Beaudry is a dedicated Yoga and Pilates instructor known for her thoughtful, intelligent approach to movement education. Her teaching is deeply rooted in the principles of alignment, mindful biomechanics, and purposeful progression, creating classes that are both challenging and accessible for students of all levels.

Over the past eight years, Kimberley’s teaching has increasingly focused on Pilates, where she continues to refine her approach to strength, control, and functional movement. She has developed a reputation for delivering dynamic and intelligently sequenced classes that encourage students to move with awareness, precision, and confidence.

Kimberley believes that movement is a powerful tool for transformation and is passionate about helping students connect more deeply to their bodies while working toward their individual fitness and wellness goals. She is especially excited to share the Circle Method, a contemporary approach to Pilates that reflects her commitment to intelligent movement, strong alignment principles, and progressive programming.

 

Aerial Yoga Teacher Training (14-Hour Certification)

Price: $450+hst  |  Pay in full or Option: $250 deposit + remainder on day 1

Prerequisite: 200 RYT Certification

Program Format

This is an intensive 2-day training. It will be fast paced and physical.

You will learn: beginner level aerial techniques including, hip openers, deep stretches, forward and back inversions, strength & conditioning, cardiovascular exercises, heart openers, back bends and stretches, deep relaxation techniques opening warm-up sequences on the Zero-Gravity Aerial Yoga Hammock. You will learn how to sequence a class that progresses into tricks & flips. Learn safe and effective spotting techniques, how to evaluate and what to watch for with clients of varying abilities. Progressions into Inversions and the cooling and calming benefits of restorative postures.

The course can be counted towards continuing education hours for the Yoga Alliance.
